The Middleton is a beautifully constructed rigid riser shower kit supplied with all the components for a perfect showering experience. Divert water between either the overhead shower or the adjustable sliding handset. The price may be low but the shower is of all brass and metal construction and the valve even incorporates an anti-scald device. As of September 2016, the product has also been given WRAS approval.
The shower is also a low-pressure design requiring only 0.5 bar for optimal use. Recent refinements have seen an upgrade to a stainless steel shower head and an improved shower handset with multiple spray settings.
In use we love the fact that the rail is telescopic, meaning the shower head can be raised or lowered depending on who's using it. The hose isn't an afterthought either, it's not a cheap plastic affair but a high-quality stainless steel number that won't easily tangle and annoy you.
